Combining the lyrical sensibilities of Velvet Underground with 70's riff rock overtones into energized Zappa-esque composition with indie-pop flare, Midnight Ultra's sound steeped in a wide variety of influences harnessing each members similar and unique tastes. Their live shows highlight seamless song transitions of original material and tastefully chosen covers.
Midnight Ultra have seen special guests JoJo Hermann (Widespread Panic) and Kris Myers (Umphreys McGee) make surprise appearances with the band and have performed at great festivals like SummerCamp 2010, Electric Avenue Music Festival, Realm of Music Festival 2008/2010 and other great events.
